Natural clinker, now in Bulgaria
Gres de Breda has been producing extruded clinker in Catalonia for over fifty years. The tiles are made only from natural clays, without glaze and without pigment, and are used in homes, hotels, public spaces and industrial buildings throughout Europe.
The material is valued for its strength, slip resistance and low temperature resistance. The range of formats and special elements is the widest on the market - from pool boards to step slats, all made from the same clay.

Slip resistance is the geometry of the surface itself, not a coating that wears off over the years. Class C for barefoot areas.

The dense body does not absorb water, so frost cannot break it from the inside. Essential for the winters in Sofia and Bansko.

Baked at high temperature
Single firing over 40 hours. The density and color come from the kiln, not from a subsequent layer.

How to choose
The clinker is extruded and fired once at 1,360 °C – this is where the density and colour are obtained, not in a subsequent coating. Each batch is tested according to EN ISO 10545; certificates are available for designers and public procurement.
